Trader-Interest Rate Prop Traders, Canada, Highly Competitive.
A well-established Canadian bank is looking for an Interest Rate Prop Trader to develop its expanding trading operation.
Within this role your daily responsibilities will include:
-Proprietary Trading and Investment fund management,
-Pricing and sale of financial derivatives, dealing mainly with swaps and options,
-Some trading of FX products to maximize profitability and to hedge existing positions,
-Perform marketing and financial analysis and evaluation of the impact of changes in pricing policies.
Successful candidates for this role will:
-Be of Associate to Vice President level in terms of experience in a Proprietary Trading role,
-Have an in-depth knowledge and experience of the Interest rate market,
-Have a proven track-record of success in a Proprietary Trading role,
-Strong academia and an ability to work under pressure.
